HAPP & E-tec Taiwan offers a large variety of connectors & interconnect products which are marketed under the E-tec brand name, as well as LAN products which are marketed under the HAPP brand name.

Our company is part of the E-tec group which grew from the HAPP factory Switzerland back in 1973 to a corporation operating on a world-wide basis, with offices in Germany, France, UK and Taiwan since 1992 and distributors covering most other countries around the world. In 1992 the trade name E-tec was registered to cover the interconnect product line (IC sockets and PCB connectors) and as of 1999 the LAN  product line (copper cables, fibre optic cables and LAN accessories) was added to the interconnect product portfolio.
In 2005 the brand name HAPP was officially registered to cover this LAN product line and as a consequence the Taiwan operation now carries this dual trade name "HAPP & E-tec Taiwan Ltd" as its official company name since 2005.
